NOTE: The Lovelock Track is open.

We're based at the all-weather Lovelock Track in Mt Roskill.

We have the track booked at the following times for club activities:

​

• Monday, Tuesday 5:30pm-7:30pm

• Thursday 5:30-7:30pm - track and infield (3 groups training across track and field. Busy.)

• Wednesday 4:30-7:30pm - this is our junior club night and busiest session, especially October-April, when we have the in-field booked as well. For safety reasons, there is no space for other groups or individuals training after 5:30pm​​
   

Outside of those times, the Lovelock Track can be booked using the Auckland Council's online booking system. Booking the track does not necessarily guarantee exclusive use. It is a ratepayer funded community facility. 

Please note, we don't know what's already booked, outside of our own bookings. You need to check with council.

The park is called the May Road War Memorial Park, and the two areas to book are:

• Athletics track

• Softball 5 Jnr (for the in-field area)

The 400m track has 6 lanes. There's also a 100m 8-lane grass track marked on the infield (summer only). There are also two long jump pits, one discus circle (with nets) and one shot put circle (no nets/cage)

There are two public toilets onsite.

Lights

​Auckland Council have advised that track lights are only on when the track is booked. There are no set hours when lights are on. To make a booking, use the council's online booking system.

Equipment

We do have some athletics equipment that we can hire to schools for use on-site at their athletics days, including:

​

• high jump mat, bar and poles - 1 set

• discus and shot put - various weights

• tape measures, rakes and broom

• relay batons

• tables and chairs
