Dear club members, whanau, coaches, volunteers and supporters, In light of the developing situation, in keeping in line with other clubs and codes, and with a desire to protect those most vulnerable in our community, tonight’s final club night has been cancelled. I will still be at the club rooms at 6pm-6.20pm to collect cups that need returning please. We want to thank all of our wonderful athletes tiny and tall who have made this season successful and also just really fun - you are awesome 👏 Our Owai community is a generous family and we as a committee love being a part of that. We want to acknowledge the generosity of many people in particular and will do that more thoroughly at a different time. Prizegiving will be postponed and info will be shared by next week about that. Certificates and cups will still happen and we will still celebrate all the wonderful participation and success of our awesome athletes. Winter/cross-country info and info on our AGM will also follow as we respond to the changing information we get. Thanks to all the wonderful committee, coaches, helpers and supporters this year - without you nothing would happen. That it all works so well is a testament to you all.
