About the Event
Owairaka Athletics and Auckland Orienteering Club present the Women's 3000m Challenge.
The event is a precursor to the creation of a Women's Under 20 squad building through the autumn and winter towards the NZ Road Relays in Canterbury in October. We want to field two Under 20 Women's teams in 2023.
We invite all female members of all ages of both clubs to come and join the event and set a 3k Personal Best. To clarify, if you are older than 20 and want to support this initiative, you can enter.
Details:
- Mulitple 3000m races depending on entries
- First race @ 9:30am
- Each race will be seeded so you are running with others of the same ability
- Open to any women from either club
- Handheld timekeeping and LED race timer
- Event timetable will become available once entries close and races have been seeded.
- Free entry. Gold coin donation welcome to cover expenses
