About the Event
What's happening on Matariki Friday?
Come and run our Maunga with us on Matariki Friday. 5k for adults, 2.5k for tamariki. It's open to everyone - whether you like to run competitively or socially. Join us for a cup of tea and soup afterwards. It's a great Matariki celebration of community. Learn more about Matariki.
It's a very historic event and has been run by the club for many many years. It has been run on Matariki Friday since the public holiday started.
We have a new event sponsor this year. Rokeby Nutrition will have some samples of their smoothies at the clubrooms for everyone to try.
The course
This year we have a new start / finish line for the 5k outside 41 Ernie Pinches Street. The 2.5k Tamariki race starts as before at the top of Puketāpapa Mt Roskill. The course is here: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/6579546954/
