Lightning Bolts

Our real season starts term 2 but if you are free on the 6th April, come on down at 6 for a run and a bit of a taster! The Lightning Bolts are a junior running squad focusing on distance running through the winter. We train together on Wednesday nights, run the Owairaka parkrun together on Saturday mornings and some of us race interclub events too. The emphasis is on having a run, learning some skills, playing some games and keeping it all fun. Bring a head torch if you have one :)

This week, we'll do a warm up game, then a jog, some drills and then we'll go out for a really easy pack run. Finish up on the track for some strides.
