About the Event
Come down and run a 5000m pb.
Meet at the Lovelock Track at 6pm.
The time trial starts at 6.30pm. We'll have the lights on and a range of pace runners (paces to be confirmed).
The newly rediscovered and very historic Owai Time Trial Cup will be awarded for the biggest percentage improvement on an 'official' 5000m pb on the night so when you register, put in your 5000m 'measured pb' from an event (parkrun, a 5k race, one of our previous time trials etc). The cup was last awarded in 1966 and has some very famous names on it including Sir Murray Halberg who won it in 1953.
Also, when you register, please indicate if you would like to be a pacer on the night.
We'll need a few helpers too for registration, time keeping and ringing the bell - so if you can help out, please get in…
