I'd never been into athletics and, until doing "Boot Camp" via work, had never run more than a 5k (reluctantly). Colleagues commented that I was quite quick running back to work (it was actually racing to get the shower first), and it's all snowballed from that really. I found Owai by looking for some local events and popped along to the 5k in the Park one Wednesday (just as the track re-laying was happening). The Club is on the up! We've had some fine Masters wins and placings, and importantly had some fun along the way. Come along to keep fit, volunteer, or compete - you're welcome.
